COMMITTED MIND

SERMON DESCRIPTION

This sermon invites believers to reflect on the transforming power of life in Christ, rooted in Colossians 3:1–3 and the truth that our lives are now hidden with Him. Through faith, God gives us a new mind—not one ruled by the flesh, but renewed by the Holy Spirit to seek the things above and discern His will. While our minds remain a contested battleground where the enemy seeks to distort our thinking, Christ continually renews us, calling us to take every thought captive and put on the new self created in His likeness. As those who possess the mind of Christ, we are no longer striving in our own strength but are invited to dwell on what is true, pure, and praiseworthy, living daily from the power and peace of God’s Spirit.
