COMPASSION AND CONFLICT

SERMON DESCRIPTION

In Book of Hosea 11:8–11, we see the heart of God for sinners. Though His people deserve judgment, God’s compassion refuses to give them up. At the cross, His justice and mercy meet as Christ bears the punishment for our sin. God continues to pursue the lost and gather His scattered people home. The message reminds us that God is the resilient missionary who would not give up on us—so He gave up His Son instead.
