Judgment & Consequences of Sin

SERMON DESCRIPTION

This sermon reveals God as the righteous Lion who judges sin, showing how Israel’s choice to trust nations instead of the Lord led them to sow the wind and reap the whirlwind—calamity, exile, and spiritual wandering. It underscores the weight of divine justice: sin brings real consequences, rejection of God’s Word leads to rejection, and it is appointed for man to die and face judgment. Yet the message does not end in despair, for the same God who tears also heals; at Calvary, justice is satisfied and mercy released as Christ bears our sins, so that all who return to the Lord find forgiveness, restoration, and the hope of dwelling with Him forever.
